Our Royalty Court is a tradition dating back to the 1930's and you are invited to be a part of Coalinga History.

Our court consists of all ages.

Lil' Miss and Lil' Mister are ages 1 day thru 4 years

Princess and Prince are ages 5 years thru 13 years

Queen & King are ages 14 years and over.

Winners are determined by who is able to sell the most Carnival Ride Wristband Vouchers.

On Opening Day of Derby Festival, Friday May 22nd 2026 we will have a Royalty Court Crowning Ceremony where we will Crown the winners.  All runners up become part of the Royalty Court and everyone is invited to ride in the Memorial Parade, Independence Day 250th Celebration Parade and the Annual Let Your Light Shine Christmas Parade.  Winners receive prizes, sashes, crowns and memories to last a lifetime.
